Becoming a Member of CPS provides many benefits to your business:

• The strong long term relationship CPS has with its suppliers ensures lowest pricing and freight costs while receiving proactive supplier support.
• CPS’s diverse range of suppliers ensures you enjoy a wider range of product to cater for the specific needs of your customers.
• All negotiated Settlement Discounts and Member Rebates are passed through to the Member monthly. 
• Merchandise advice, local suppliers and supplier deals to suit WA needs are all part of the CPS Hardware system.
• You keep control of your business with the support of a Member focused co-operative created to improve Member profitability.

How to join.

The criteria for CPS Membership are as follows:

• The business must be aligned to the hardware industry i.e. hardware store, power tool specialist, nursery & garden centres.
• The business must be a reseller to the end user and should have the stock range on display to the public with sales personnel on hand to service customers.
• The business should be open to the general public at the usual retail trading hours.
• The business must have the ability to trade with the co-operative electronically.

If your business meets the above criteria, to activate your Membership you need to:

1. Apply to purchase an allocation of shares.
2. Apply to open a trading account with CPS
3. Additionally, you can apply to open an account with Western Australian Hardware Services Pty Ltd. (WAHS) to access a full range distribution warehouse.

Once your Membership is approved, you’ll be allocated an identification number (CPS Member #). Simply quote your Member number when ordering goods or requesting prices either from a supplier, through the CPS Supply Centre or through the WAHS warehouse.
