Garry Jacobs
– General Manager
Garry Jacobs was appointed General Manager of CPS in December 2003.
Garry has had extensive experience in the Hardware industry across all aspects of retailing, group management and wholesale supply. He has had over twenty one years experience with a leading retailer in South Australia, and over the last eighteen years has been associated with Co-operatives in the industry in both South Australia and Western Australia.
Garry also served as a Director of Newspower for a number of years, and has been an active participant in the Hardware Association of WA and the Co-operative Federation of WA.

Tim Hantke
– Chairman
Tim was appointed to the CPS Board in February 2006. He represents “A” Class shareholders.
Tim has had extensive experience within the franchise industry and has been a member of the Federal Government’s Franchise Policy Council and has been invited to join an industry panel to advise the ACCC on operational issues surrounding the Franchising Code of Conduct. Tim has experience in mergers, acquisitions and disposals and has been both the initiator and subject of business takeovers.
Tim is a member of the national board of Lifeline Australia Inc, a board member and Deputy Chairman of The Living Stone Foundation Inc trading as Lifeline WA and is a Director of publicly listed Joyce Corporation Limited.

Graeme Norrish
– Vice Chairman
Graeme was appointed to the CPS Board 1994. He represents “A” Class shareholders.
He is also a Director of our affiliated supply company WA Hardware Services Pty Ltd. He has 27 years experience in the Co-operative movement and Retailing, and has been the General Manager of B.K.W. Co-operative Ltd for the past 20 years. B.K.W. Co-operative Ltd has been providing services for its community since 1921 and was a founding member of CPS Ltd. BKW Co-op is a diverse retail business with operational divisions involving the areas of Hardware, Electrical, Liquor, Supermarket, Clothing, Giftware and Rural Merchandise.
Graeme is a Commissioner of Declarations and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Tim Ellery
– Director
Tim was appointed to CPS Board in June 2003. He represents “B” Class shareholders.
Tim has been involved in the hardware industry for 20 years and has been a director of Midstream Hardware for 15 years. He was Managing Director for 10yrs and became the owner/operator of the business, after buying out the other partners. Midstream Hardware was a foundation member of the Hardware 25 group and a foundation member of the Makit Hardware group.
Midstream Hardware is a Trade based hardware store located in Mandurah (70km) from the Perth CBD and supplies building materials and tools in a high growth area.
Tim has also served on several promotion committees over the past 10 years.

Greg Downie
– Director
Greg was appointed to the CPS Board in Feb 2007. He represents “B” Class shareholders.
Greg, along with partner Carolyn is the proprietor of Toodyay Hardware & Farm. Greg is a qualified plumber with a background in business ownership and senior management. His experiences include the implementation of QA to the standard ISO9000 and many years as a Tafe lecturer. Greg’s experience includes his past commitment as Councillor of the Shire of Toodyay and past Chairman of the Board of Bendigo Bank in Toodyay.
Toodyay Hardware & Farm, supply hardware, building and rural supplies, to the rapidly growing Toodyay district and is a Member of the MAKIT group. Greg currently serves on the MAKIT Marketing Committee.
